Hello, I’m Buyana from Mongolia! I’ve been studying in SIT for over 4years. I came to Shanghai with zero knowledge of Chinese language and culture. First year, I learned Chinese language with foreign students at SIT downtown campus.
After getting my HSK certificate (HSK is an exam that tests Chinese language proficiency), get enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in marketing at Shanghai Institute of Technology.
“ Campus is very beautiful, dormitory is very tidy, aunties (receptionist) are very funny and friendly! They are the best!”
This was the beginning of everything, you meet students from every part of whole Mainland China, and sure from other countries’ students. One thing I love being here is Chinese people love to be friends with foreigners. They always want to know your culture, your language, your mind. SIT- international students department works very hard for us. They always take care of your problems, give advice if you need help and always provide every information we need. You are always welcome to office to talk to them. Campus is very beautiful, dormitory is very tidy, aunties (receptionist) are very funny and friendly! They are the best!
As a foreign student, I understood that studying abroad means presenting your country to others. That’s why I always want to participate university activities and go volunteering, meet people in different statuses in different countries. After graduating, even though I have plans in other country, I know I will miss my university days here in beautiful Shanghai.
So why don’t you come and enjoy the life of international student in Shanghai Institute of Technology? I bet you’ll LOVE it!
