On October 28, the opening ceremony and welcome event of the 8th "SIT-FONTYS China Economic Week" were held at the Xuhui Campus. Wang Ying, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of SIT, extended warm greetings and a heartfelt welcome to the visiting faculty representatives from the Netherlands. In attendance were Chen Qingchang, Director of the International Office; Xiong Yan, Dean of the School of Economics and Management; Wang You, the lead faculty representative from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands; as well as representatives of Chinese and Dutch faculty and students. Hou Jiansheng, Party Secretary of the School of Economics and Management, presided over the ceremony.
