On October 30, a delegation led by Julian Voss, Member of the Board and Vice President for International Cooperation of the PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen (Germany), visited SIT. Wu Zhijun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC SIT Committee and Vice President, met the guests at the Fengxian Campus, accompanied by the heads of the Office of Undergraduate Education and the Office of International Exchange.

Wu Zhijun welcomed Julian Voss and his delegation and briefed them on the University's history, its distinctive features and the development of the relevant disciplines and programs. He noted that Germany's dual-system model of talent cultivation, which is deeply integrated with industrial practice, offers valuable reference for cultivating application-oriented talent. The two universities share a similar positioning and the same roots, and are highly aligned in their philosophy of application-oriented education, so their cooperation can generate a synergy of "1+1 > 2". He expressed the hope that this visit would serve as an opportunity to focus on advancing the joint education cooperation between the two universities and to bring the project to implementation at an early date.
