On January 9, the Engineering Research Center for Special Lubrication Technology for Metal Processing in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry (hereinafter referred to as the "Center") held a technical committee meeting in our school. The center is recognized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and is jointly sponsored by Shanghai University of Technology and Shanghai University of Technology. Sinopec Lubricant Co., Ltd. and Shandong Qingyishan Petrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. are jointly established.

President Wang Xiaofan addressed the meeting via video. Fifteen members of the technical committee, including Wang Yimin, Director of the Science and Technology Development Department of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, Xu Chunming, Director of the Center’s Technical Committee and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhao Jiang, Executive Deputy Director of the Center’s Technical Committee and Deputy General Manager of Sinopec Lubricant Company, Sheng Zuhong, director of the Shanghai Research Institute of Sinopec Lubricant Company as well as some external experts attended the meeting.
