The school of Urban Construction and Safety Engineering focuses on the field of urban construction as its main service orientation, with the development theme of "urban safety and sustainable development" and safety as its characteristic. It focuses on the dual carbon, safety, and emergency fields of construction, and is committed to cultivating high-quality applied and innovative talents with strong practical ability, innovative spirit, and international perspective. It is a secondary school that integrates engineering and management.

The school currently has six undergraduate majors: Civil Engineering, Safety Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Management, Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering, and Energy and Power Engineering. The civil engineering major is a national first-class major, and the safety engineering and engineering management major is a first-class major in Shanghai. I have two professional master's engineering categories: Resources and Environment, and Civil and Hydraulic Engineering. We are recruiting graduate students in five degree programs (directions): Resources and Environment, Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, Management Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Landscape Architecture.

The school currently has 106 faculty members and 87 full-time teachers, including 12 professors and 39 associate professors, with senior professional titles accounting for 59%. 69 people hold doctoral degrees, accounting for 78%, and double qualified teachers account for 77.3%.
